Welcome and Introduction

Hello Folks! This is my new Blog. The purpose of this Blog is to stay connected to many of you and share nuggets that I have gathered along the way in my personal and professional journey.

For those of you that don't know me, my career of 38 yrs. began in the field of addictions. With a Bachelors in Psycholgy and later my Masters in Social Work I spent the fisrt 15 yrs of my career working in Outpatient and Residential treatment with adolescents and their families as well as adult treatment in NYC. 

My clinical and philosophical perspective changed completely when I personally experienced the healing power of NLP (Neuro-linguistic Programming)in the early 90's. I went on to receive all the levels of training as an NLP and Hypnosis trainer as well as becoming a Reiki Master.

In 1996, I left the addictions field to start The Meta Instittute, a holistic training center and moved to the Twin Cities.I ran the Insitute for 21 years(until 2017) and I was the Co-creator of Therapeutic Coaching, an intensive 15 month program that uniquely combined NLP, Hypnosis, Systems, energy principles, and spirituality to prepare graduates to do transformative work with clients. 

Currently, I am focusing on my coaching practice, mentoring, public speaking, writing, spending time with my family and discovering where else my journey will take me now.
